What is the Evangélicos for Justice Initiative ?

Evangélicos for Justice is a an organic faith community based initiative of Latino congregations in Florida, that comes together when needed to collectively address the root causes of community problems and speak into public policies that are harmful to people’s daily lives.

Latino Evangelical churches visited the Florida Capitol in Tallahassee to pray and speak up for the immigrant community.

Immigration

As faith leaders who directly serve the immigrant community, we see and honor the contributions that Florida immigrant families make each day. Florida cannot afford more roadblocks to immigrants’ active participation that helps the state thrive.

Death Penalty

Our criminal justice system should always seek to uphold Christian values of truth, redemption and fairness. Florida’s use of the death penalty undermines these values and contributes to a culture of violence and retribution without restoration.
