Who is Evangélicos for Justice?

Evangélicos for Justice is a an organic faith community based network of Latino congregations in Florida, that comes together as needed to address root causes of community problems and public policies that are harmful to peoples daily lives.

Immigration

As faith leaders who directly serve the immigrant community, we see and honor the contributions that Florida immigrant families make each day. Florida cannot afford more roadblocks to immigrants’ active participation that helps the state thrive.

Death Penalty

Our criminal justice system should always seek to uphold Christian values of truth, redemption and fairness. Florida’s use of the death penalty undermines these values and contributes to a culture of violence and retribution without restoration.
